Carnival is a wonderful holiday that is celebrated during the month of February. In my town the celebrations last four days and the whole country is on holiday. There are the parade floats for the town and all the children with their parents and kids as me joke and play throughout the evening. The fun is sure even if there is risk of come back home dirty of foam. The children will dress from princess, cartoon's heros and wearing of the moment and they enjoy throwing confetti in air and dancing in the streets. I really like the carnival and every year is a great celebration for all the people because we aren't at school!!!

It's a typical carnival's sweet.
Ingredients (dose 6) are: 350 grams of flour - 100 grams of sugar - 40 grams of butter - an egg - 3 egg yolks - half a sachet of baking powder - vanillin - an orange or a lemon - grappa or dry white wine - icing sugar - oil for frying and salt.

We must collect the flour into a bowl and mix with sugar, eggs, egg yolks, a pinch of salt, melted butter, baking powder, a sachet of vanilla, grated peel of oranges and lemons and a little glass of grappa. After we need to work the dough long until it become homogenos. Then spend the dough in the machine, pulling it into thin sheets that are then cut with the toothed wheel in so many tapes. After all this fried each "chiacchiera" with plenty and hot oil, when they will be puffed and golden drain shall be throughly coated with icing sugar and serve hot and crispy!!

My dream journey is in the USA. I would like to visit New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and other wonderful cities of United States of America. This is my dream of honeymoon, so I will visit the USA when I marry with my husband. New York is a beautiful city that I always wanted to visit. I would like to watch The Statue of Liberty, Hollywood, Wall Street...The USA is also the land of the spectacular Grand Canyon, the mighty Mississipi River and the thundering Niagara Falls, so the land is varied and vast, ranging from the warm beaches of Florida to the frozen lands of Alaska and from the Midwest prairies to the Rocky Mountains. Therefore I would like to visit all beautiful characteristics of USA.

Policoro is a small town in the south-east of Italy, about 60 km south of Matera. It's got a beautiful sea and it's a very pleasant summer resort. It's houses are small, low and white. The streat are street and large and there are beautiful large squares. There's a archeologic Museum with some Roman and Greak remains. There's a library in the centre of the town and there are two Elementary School, one Middle School and two High School. There isn't a university. There are also, five churches. Policoro hasn't got a theatre or a concert hall, but it's got a cinema, some restaurants, several shops, exactly a big shopping centre and seven supermarket. There are some football field, tennis courts and a swimming pool. The best time to visit Policoro is from June to September, because is summer. I like very much my town, Policoro. I love live here because there is a seaside and people are friendly!!!!!

I celebrate Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve with my family and all my cousins, my grand parents and my uncles. We spend the evening playing bingo, singing some Christmas carols and eating a lot. I usually give presents to my parents, my grand parents and my best friend because they are the most important people of my life and i really love them!! I like getting money for Christmas! My parents, my relatives always byu me presents because I'm always helpful with them and they are good with me. I don't believe in Santa Clause. I sometimes attend to church during Christmas. We say "Santa Clause" "BABBO NATALE" in my country. I dress my Christmas tree on December 8th. My Christmas tree is talla and fake. My brothers and I dress the tree with different balls and lights. It's very, very beautiful!!! I don't sing but I plat to piano some Christman carols: "Jingle Balls" and other famous songs. I celebrate Christmas Eve at school among my friends and my teachers eating cakes and sweets. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
